Shift:  12-hour Days & Nights

A reputable FMCG manufacturing company is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Bias Engineer to join their team in Haltwhistle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical bias engineer to work with an industry leader and contribute to the ongoing success of a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults to ensure smooth production operations.
• Support the engineering team in improving machinery performance and efficiency.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while working on equipment.
• Work to meet the demands of the production schedule with minimal downtime.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline.
• Has a proven track record in a manufacturing environment.
• Is flexible and willing to work shifts as required.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Shows a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
