Salary: £56,000 - £58,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off (Daus and Nights)

Location: Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Shift Manager to join a UK leading logistics company. The Engineering Team Leader will be joining an innovative market leader within the industry who can offer unlimited progression and technical development. The Engineering Shift Manager will be joining yet another brand-new site to add to this companies' portfolio which will be a fully automated site with brand new innovative industry leading machinery.

The Engineering Shift Manager will be hands on doing PPM's and breakdown repairs on the fully automated lines and will also be leading a team of engineers on shift and leading all CAPEX and improvement projects.  With a solid structure in place there are clear progressions routes into the next role at any level you join. With this being a state of the art fully automated site there is extensive training from day one - both internal and external and with the technology evolving at such a fast pace this training is ongoing at all levels. This really is a great opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to showcase their skills and refine them within a real technical environment. 

Skills required for Engineering Shift Manager

• Proven experience as an Engineering Team Leader/Shift Manager
• Strong technical hands-on background in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Engineering Qualifications
• Industrial background
