Slitter Operator - Bollington, Cheshire

Salary: £24,900 rising to £30,000 after 3 months
Shift: Double-day shift (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

Are you a detail-oriented individual with experience in manufacturing or production environments? We're looking for a dedicated Slitter Operator to join our team in Bollington, Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Operate machinery across various sections including unwind, rewind, offloading, and packing
✅ Conduct quality inspections, ensuring products meet specification standards
✅ Load raw materials and unload finished products efficiently
✅ Perform routine safety checks and support engineering teams with machine maintenance
✅ Maintain production records and logs for equipment and performance
✅ Participate in team-based activities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a manufacturing/production role (previous experience as a slitter operator advantageous)
Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
