Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £43,000 - £45,000

Shift: 3 Shift - Earlies, Lates, Nights  

Location: Kirkcaldy, Fife

We are recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a dynamic and heavy industrial manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with a strong mechanical or electrical background to take on a key role in maintaining and improving site performance. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the site operates efficiently with minimal downtime. You will work closely with the wider engineering team to diagnose and resolve faults, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills required for Maintenance Engineer:

• Strong mechanical or electrical background - multi-skilled preferred
• Experience in a heavy industrial environment
• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to maintenance
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations within a manufacturing setting.
