We are seeking a talented Transport Planner/Assistant to join our team and contribute to the optimization of our transportation operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing the movement of goods and personnel, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering the operation against the agreed dispatch schedules. Scheduling and monitoring of all routes and drivers
• Ensure that the operation performs safely
• Comply with all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulation standards.
• Assist in the planning and execution of transportation routes and schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate shipments and deliveries.
• Monitor transportation activities to ensure adherence to schedules and regulations.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with transportation providers.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including maintaining records and preparing reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and transportation management software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
