Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager:

• Leading, developing, and motivating the engineering team to adopt best practices, while deputising for the Site Engineering Manager.
• Overseeing budget proposals and collaborating with the business on budget vs actual spend.
• Supporting modifications and continuous improvement initiatives to maintenance procedures, ensuring legal compliance on site.
• Collaborating with production to prioritise interventions, drive maintenance best practices, and overseeing preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Handling maintenance, repair, and breakdown on various machinery, including involvement in modifications, project work, and installations.

Skills Required for the Maintenance Manager:

• Background in manufacturing, ideally within fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Multi-skilled engineering background, including electrical skills.
• Proven experience in managing and motivating engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of planned maintenance and proficiency in using PPM systems.
• Ideally, involvement in CAPEX and improvement projects.

At our site, you'll be working with a variety of machinery including mixers, conveyors, depositors, hoists, flow wrappers, and packaging lines. This role is predominantly electrical, involving work on PLCs, drives, inverters, and sensors.
