Salary: £54,000 - £55,000

Shift: Permanent Nights (Mon-Thurs) 

Location: Porthmadog, Gwynedd

We are recruiting for a growing fast paced manufacturer who have an opportunity for Maintenance Engineer based in Porthmadog. I am looking for a Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background that is multi skilled, either mechanically or electrically bias, ideally apprenticed trained but open to engineering qualifications. As a Maintenance Engineer you will be required to carry out mechanical and electrical installations, carrying out planned maintenance activities and promptly attend to breakdowns, ensuring all actions and further requirements are comprehensively reported. You will proactively prevent equipment failures and enhance performance by implementing improvements, maintaining service levels to minimize downtime, and ensuring effective communication with relevant personnel.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

• Apprentice Trained or holding an engineering qualification.
• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Mechanically or electrically bias
• Manufacturing Background
• Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
