£29,328 per annum
Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (some Saturdays and longer shifts may be required)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to join a leading UK food manufacturer. This role is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in ensuring high standards of food safety and product quality across a busy and fast-paced site.

The Role

As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5 Quality Controllers, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, customer specifications, and internal standards. You will monitor processes, support audits, and maintain documentation to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 4 Quality Controllers

• Conduct regular checks and inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products

• Perform label checks, equipment calibration, and sampling for lab analysis

• Carry out low-level audits (e.g., black bag audits) and maintain accurate records

• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures are strictly followed

• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and drive improvements

About You

• Previous experience in a Quality role within food manufacturing (essential)

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Good knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, BRC preferred)

• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability

• Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-moving production environment
