Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer looking to join a thriving FMCG business in a fast-paced, team-focused environment? We're recruiting for a proactive and skilled engineer to play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly at our facility in Bala, Gwynedd.

The Role:

Working as part of a multi-skilled maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production equipment and site facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of FMCG machinery

   

• Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime

   

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site

   

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site compliance standards

   

• Recording all maintenance activity accurately via CMMS

   

About You:

We're looking for a motivated engineer with a solid background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced production environment.

Essential:

• Time-served engineer or relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC)

   

• Mechanical or electrical bias with multi-skilled ability

   

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

   

• Willingness to work Panama shift pattern (days and nights)

   

Desirable:

• Previous experience in FMCG or food production

   

• Knowledge of PLCs, conveyors, packaging equipment, or automated systems
