Steve Carter
Managing Director
Steve Carter, our esteemed Managing Director at Pioneer Selection, is celebrating his 38th year in the recruitment industry in 2024. His illustrious career began as a trainee consultant, from which he ascended to CEO/MD roles in large global recruitment companies. Steve's journey has been marked by a series of notable ventures, including spearheading the recruitment programme for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, launching the first non-government-owned recruitment agency in China, and, most recently, contributing to the growth of Pioneer Selection, an emerging market leader. His wealth of experience and leadership greatly enrich our team, making his guidance invaluable to our passionate and talented group. Beyond his recruitment achievements, Steve is dedicated to promoting Disability Inclusion in the workplace. In 2018, he co-founded The Ability People (TAP) with the aim of achieving 'Parity of Opportunity' for individuals with disabilities and impairments, underscoring his commitment to making a difference in the broader community.
